Finally ended my working stint @ fusionopolis yesterday after bout 2 1/2 mths...
To sum up the entire working period:
- office is nice and conducive coz they gave me my own workstation
- magnificent view of the surroundings as the building is made up of floor-to-ceiling windows
- friendly and funny ppl though i dun interact with them, but eavesdrop on their convo
- convenient in terms of having a food court just at the basement and a huge supermarket
- inconvenient as i have to take a shuttle bus to and fro and having to squeeze with the rest
- having to change for a visitor pass everyday
- even having to take my temperature daily at a short point in time
- having to press the bell and wait for a staff to open the door for me
- nice and quiet toilets coz basically there are very few female staffs on the level
- heard lots of internet and computer jargons there, which maybe expanded some of my computer knowledge... haha
Bad news is the swine flu is becoming widespread in melbourne and i will be heading there... haiz.. cant cancel coz it will mean forfeiting the entire sum which we paid since ours is a discounted fare... so we really have to exercise extra precautions like masks, sanitisers, alcohol swaps, vitamin Cs, etc and try to avoid crowded places and dun stand at close proximity with ppl with flu-like symptoms. Oh man, it seems really scary... lol...
